EventDia
EventDia is India’s event marketplace — connecting people planning events with the vendors who bring them to life — and needed a web platform and mobile apps built to match that two-sided marketplace from day one.

Objective
EventDia set out to become India’s go-to marketplace for events — a single place where people planning an event can discover and book the right vendors, and vendors can reach people actively looking to hire them. That meant building for two very different audiences, on both web and mobile, from day one.
- Launch a web platform and native mobile apps that work as one connected marketplace
- Give event organizers a fast, trustworthy way to discover, compare, and book vendors
- Give vendors a clear, simple way to list their services and manage bookings
- Build an architecture that could scale across cities and event categories without a rebuild
- Ship a fast, modern experience on web and mobile from a shared, maintainable codebase
- Cross-Platform Consistency: Provide a seamless experience across Android, iOS, and the web.
The goal was a platform that felt as easy as “Curate. Connect. Celebrate.” promises — on whichever device someone reaches for.
Challenges
A marketplace has to work for two audiences at once — organizers who want to move fast, and vendors who want to be found. Getting both right, on web and mobile, from a single technical foundation, was the real challenge.
- Two distinct user types — organizers and vendors — each needed their own flow, not one compromise design
- Web and mobile needed to feel like one product, not two separate builds
- No existing platform or codebase to build from — everything started from zero
- Needed to support fast growth across event categories and cities without re-architecting later
- Discovery and booking had to feel instant, even as the vendor catalog grows
Approach
Stintlief Technologies built the web platform and the mobile apps side by side, sharing product decisions and, where it made sense, code — so organizers and vendors get the same experience wherever they show up.
Discovery and Planning:
- Mapped the two core journeys — organizers discovering and booking, vendors listing and managing
- Defined the marketplace’s information architecture across categories and cities.
- Planned a shared technical foundation for web and mobile from the start.
Web Platform:
- Built the web platform on Next.js for fast page loads and strong SEO out of the box.
- Designed vendor discovery, profiles, and booking flows around real event-planning behavior.
- Built with React for a componentized, maintainable front end.
Mobile Apps:
- Built native-feeling iOS and Android apps with React Native, sharing logic with the web platform.
- Designed mobile-first flows for on-the-go browsing, booking, and vendor management.
- Kept the mobile and web experiences consistent so users can move between them freely
Launch and Support:
- Launched the web platform and mobile apps together.
- Set up the foundation for adding new vendor categories and cities without rework.
- Continue supporting and extending the platform as EventDia grows
Result
- Performance: sub-2-second average page loads on the Next.js web platform
- Consistency: full feature parity between the web platform and the mobile apps at launch
- Simultaneous Launch: web and native mobile apps shipped together instead of mobile trailing behind
- Scalable Foundation: an architecture ready to add new vendor categories and cities without a rebuild
